One, For body burden in life

In 2018, Lunacup was launched to solve the menstrual problems that women are experiencing.

For the freedom in our daily life, safer and healthier menstrual cycle, and no-garbage menstrual cycle, we started developing a menstrual cup and menstruation education. Ironically, however, menstrual cups alone could not end the intense ‘menstrual pain’ that shook everyday life.

Our daily lived are constantly consumed and exposed to chemicals in the process. We’ve come to face the reality that there’s no alternative in the conflict of harmful chemicals

In order to reduce body burden
that threatens women’s health
What should we do for our lives?
Let’s change the daily necessities we use!
We start ‘GoingSlow’
to resolve this problem.

Body Burden: The total amount of harmful substances that accumulate in our body.

Two, Harmful chemicals in daily life that threaten women’s health

The world is changing, but most of housework still remain for women.

Soap, shampoo, kitchen detergent, detergents and even cosmetics, chemicals that touch with our skin, it’s becoming innumerable, and women are exposed more often and more frequently.

It’s no surprise that these chemical attacks are not stopping at the moment, but leading to the next generation through pregnancy and childbirth.

Reducing harmful chemicals in daily lifes has become the first goal of GoingSlow.

Why don’t we change the shampoo and conditioner we use every morning and the soap we use several times a day into an eco-friendly product of vegetable ingredients?

What would it be like changing the synthetic surfactant classified as a first-class carcinogen into a surfactant made of coconut oil, changing the artificial flavoring containing phthalate [plastic ingredient classified as carcinogen] into a plant essence with 100% natural flavor?

What if we color it with vegetables and grains instead of artificial dyes containing chemical ingredients?

Liquid detergents contain more than 70% of ‘purified water’.

Because these detergents are liquid, they add preservatives to prevent degeneration and bacterial growth during the distribution process.

If it’s a solid cleanser, you don’t need to add preservatives and also don’t need plastic containers for liquid detergents.

Three, Plastic Attack

It is no exaggeration to say that our daily lives are with plastic.

We wear, apply, and even drink plastic.

According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, on October 13, 2020, microplastics were detected in 80 samples out of 81 kinds of 9 species domestic fishery products. The reality is that the plastic we consume in our daily lives is returning to our bodies through rivers and seas.

According to the environmental organization, we eat as much plastic as one credit card (5g) every month. But from the consumer’s point of view, we cannot completely stop using plastic in one day.

The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash we use every morning are also contained in a plastic container. Knowing the dangers of microplastics does not stop you from washing your hair and showering.

While consumer choice is important to reduce the use of plastic, it is more important to develop products that consumers can choose from.

GoingSlow gives you
courage to start living
a plastic free life.

‘Report on Microplastics Monitoring and Human Exposure Assessment in Food’

A total of 81 samples of 27 from 9 species Domestic fishery products (fish 1 species – dried anchovies, Shellfish 4 species – abalone, Meretrix lusoria, cockles, ark shells, Cephalopoda 2 species – octopus, small octopus, Crustacean 2 species – shrimps, blue crabs) were tested and found microplastics in 80 samples (98.7%) except the one Meretrix lusoria was not detected.

Four, To protect the nature

Our concerns, which began with women’s health, met with the plastic problem, followed by the ecological problem. Companies seek maximum profit at a low cost. The logic of capital led to the widespread use of cheap synthetic surfactants. The chemicals that we used flowed through the sewers into rivers and oceans. It’s coming back to our bodies through our food again.

The synthetic surfactants ‘Sodium Laureth Sulfate’, ‘Ethylene Oxide’, ‘Sodium Lauryl Sulfate’ from shampoo, body wash, kitchen detergent and baby detergent are widely used. The synthetic surfactant that flowed into the stream makes the lives in the water disappear.

The reason why plastic that we use indiscriminately also comes back as microplastics is that nature can’t digest it. Because it’s not made by nature, so nature doesn’t have the ability to digest plastics.

Now we need to develop products that are biodegradable, composting. This is our responsibility and duty for ever living and breathing life on Earth and for the next generation.

What nature does not make should not be sent to nature.
Nature also cannot embrace that.
Five, GoingSlow suggests the daily life change.

We suggest daily items that people can use without worrying about nature. We introduce you GoingSlow products that contain with plant ingredients and are free from plastic. They were filled with natural scents, having plenty of foam and detergency. The solid shampoo and conditioner made by GoingSlow do not make garbage because there is no plastic container after use.

Even if it flows into the sea through sewage every morning, it is biodegradable and quickly composted because it is a vegetable oil and grain component.

Participate in a new life with plastic free.

GoingSlow plans to start making more suggestions

We start developing products that can replace disposable products with practical multi-use products, and converting the ingredients of chemicals into natural ingredients.

For nature,

Please be with GoingSlow
