Every woman will spend 2,100 days of their lives in menstruation, so it’s clear that menstruation is very much related to women’s daily lives.
However, how much do we know about menstruation?
For a very long time, and throughout the world’s cultures, menstruation was regarded with disgust and disapproval. Through a combination of religious dogma, cultural customs, and male-centered social systems, menstruation has never been considered to be central to women’s health. And yet, 80% of women suffer from period pain, and 10~15% are unable to function in their everyday lives during this time. In this situation, menstruation disgust and a lack of education intensifies the overwhelming discomfort.
Lunacup has started “menstruation education” to encourage women to understand their bodies more fully and experience a healthy menstruation.
Every year, more than 3,000 women participate in the training.
Lunacup will expand “menstruation education” for women’s health and healthy menstruation periods.
